“ The chalk and talk lecture is like going down a highway at 30 miles per hour. We have lots of time to look to the left and to the right and it’s easier to become so distracted that we miss the right turn. In a multimedia classroom, we are going down that same highway at 85 miles per hour. You have to stay alert and focused or you will crash and burn.
